Privacy policy

Kynzor (kynzor.com) lists game deals, free games and gaming news from other sites. We try to collect as little as possible. This page says what we do collect, why, and how to get it removed.

Signing in

You can sign in with Google or Discord. When you do, that service tells us your name, email address and profile picture. We use them only to show that you are signed in and to keep you signed in.

Your sign-in itself lives in an encrypted cookie in your browser for up to 30 days and is gone when you sign out or the cookie expires. We only save your details on our side if you use the watchlist (see below). We never see your Google or Discord password, and we don't post anything to those accounts.

Your watchlist

When you're signed in you can add games to a watchlist. We store the list together with your email address and name, so it follows you to any device and so we can email you when a game on it goes on sale. It's kept with our database provider, Upstash. Sale emails are sent through Resend, and every one has a link to turn them off. Removing a game deletes it from the list. To delete your whole list, email kynzoresports@gmail.com.

Price alert emails

If you sign up for price alerts we store your email address so we can send you deal emails. It's stored with our database provider, Supabase. We don't sell or share it. To stop the emails and have your address deleted, email kynzoresports@gmail.com.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to see which pages and deals people use. It only runs after you click OK on the cookie bar. If you click No thanks, it stays off. Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga) and sends Google things like pages visited, rough location and device type. It doesn't tell us who you are.

We also keep two small notes in your browser's local storage: your cookie choice (kz-consent) and whether you've seen the ad blocker notice (kz-adblock-seen). Clearing your browser data removes them.

Store links

Deal links take you to the store selling the game. Some are affiliate links, so we may earn a small commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. Once you leave Kynzor, the store's own privacy policy applies.

Who else handles data

• Vercel hosts the site and keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser, for security.
• Google and Discord, when you sign in with them.
• Supabase, for price alert emails.
• Upstash, for watchlists, and Resend, for sending watchlist emails.
• Google Analytics, only if you allow it.

We don't sell personal data, and we don't use it for ad targeting.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email kynzoresports@gmail.com and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Kids

Kynzor isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
